*You should be prepared to experience extremely modest and simple accommodations. Hotels in Africa are not necessarily comparable to the customary standard in your home country. Running water and electricity may not be available at all times.

  • Flights: all visitors will be expected to cover their international flights to and from Nigeria. Note: we strongly recommend you fly directly into Abuja. While there may be cheaper flights that send you via Lagos, we would like to inform you that the transfer from the international airport to the local airport is difficult, risky, and can be extremely time-consuming.
  • Additional meals (lunch and dinner will be available at the hotel at your expense).
  • Personal expenses (souvenirs, SIM cards, etc.).
  • Passport and visa fee: you are responsible for meeting the local requirements such as visa regulations, and obtain valid documents. Depending on your country of residence, you may be asked to appear at the Nigerian Embassy in person. This may lead to additional costs. You may want to consider obtaining the visa before booking this trip.
  • Vaccination fees: you will be required to provide proof of yellow fever vaccine.
  • Travel Insurance (mandatory for this trip).

    • Must be valid for 6 months following the departure date from your home country
    • Must have at least four blank pages
  • Vaccination records
    • Proof of a valid yellow fever vaccine is required
  • Visa for Nigeria
    • Apply for a tourist visa at least by September 27th, 2024
    • Please note that you may need to go to the Nigerian embassy, depending on the requirements of your home country. After the visa has been approved, a passport stamp will be given upon your arrival in Nigeria.
    • Passport and visa fees (it is the traveler's responsibility to have/obtain valid documents prior to the trip. Depending on your country of residence, you may be asked to appear at the Nigerian Embassy in person. This may lead to additional costs. You may want to consider obtaining the visa before booking this trip to avoid cancellation fees).

  • You are responsible for meeting the local requirements such as vaccination certificates, and please make sure you have a travel insurance in place.
  • Malaria travel pills are recommended. Please book a doctor appointment to ensure you have the necessary medication prescribed before leaving your home country.
  • Participation in this event will require your full health and energy. Disabled access is NOT available in Nigeria.
  • The sanitary situation during the event may be minimal and basic. Only a limited number of portable toilets will be available.
  • Traffic pollution and dust levels may be very high. If you have any allergies, kindly take the necessary measures beforehand, or you may face some health issues on the ground.
  • The temperature is high and humid; please have sunscreen and dress comfortably. We advise you to bring insect repellent as a precautionary measure to mitigate the risk of insect bites during your stay.
  • The traffic in and around Abuja is usually stagnant. You need to be aware of the fact that each transfer between the hotel and the crusade field can take hours and Air conditioning may not be available.
  • For security purposes, you will not be allowed to reach any destination alone. All activities will be conducted in a group and security will be provided for the group.
  • Please note that food outside of the hotel may not be safe to eat, such as fresh fruit, some vegetables and ice. Tap water is never drinking water. It cannot be used for brushing your teeth. Please ask the local team for guidance, alternatively, you can bring packed food from home. We recommend you to bring dried snacks (beef jerky, dried fruit, protein bars, etc.) for your trip and car rides.
  • You should be prepared to face extremely modest and simple accommodations. Hotels in Africa are usually not comparable to anything we know and may not meet the hygiene standards we are used to. Running water and electricity may not be available at all times. At times the water comes extremely hot. We recommend flip-flops for the showers - some can be very slippery.
  • People who suffer from severe allergies could potentially develop problems due to the hot, humid and dusty climate. Air conditioning may not be available.

  • At the hotel, you will be able to make payments with a credit card – except AMEX usually. Generally speaking, use of credit card is safe in Abuja, Nigeria.
  • If you want to have cash, you will be able to exchange money in the local currency (“Naira”) at airport upon arrival. However, kindly note that the exchange rate is not always favourable.

  • Christ for all Nations will provide a high level of security at the hotel, during the crusade as well as during any transport; however, a certain level of risk will always remain, for which Christ for all Nations is not responsible.

  • Christ for all Nations takes no responsibility for travelers. All participants are required to sign a waiver (to be provided to you for signature before your arrival). It contains information about the risk of the journey and liability. We highly recommend medical travel insurance as Christ for all Nations will not reimburse any costs for medical services. We recommend that such travel insurance includes emergency return transport.
  • Please note that all crusades, crusade dates, preaching opportunities are subject to change. We will do our best to communicate any changes as early as possible, but please be flexible and ready for amendments. Christ for all Nations will not be responsible to reimburse you for any costs incurred by you in case of crusade changes or cancellations nor to reimburse would you be unable to obtain your visa in time.
