Did you know that over 60% of the entire population of Africa is under the age of 25? And more than half of the population is under the age of 16!
When we conduct our massive Flagship Gospel Crusades, children often come with their parents, and only the Lord knows how many millions (over the years) have received Jesus into their hearts as a result. So, as our Founder Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke continually declared, “Africa shall be saved,” we understand that we must be intentional and committed to reaching the children and youth of Africa! That’s why, in line with our God-given “Decade of Double Harvest” mandate, reaching the children and young people of Africa with the clear, unequivocal Gospel message is such a critical element.
After a few years of preparation, planning, and training, this year, in partnership with CfaN Bootcamp Graduates and CfaN Fire Camp graduates, we began the CfaN “Youth Crusades” initiatives, and the results have been over the top!
In 2022 we have conducted:
6,281 total youth crusades
In:
27 countries
And witnessed:
1,948,685 salvations
After ministering in Youth Crusades in Rwanda, CfaN Evangelism Bootcamp graduate Samuel Hörnle said, “It is such a privilege to see how an entire generation gets changed through the Holy Spirit. We have seen so many children following the call of the Father to come home. Thousands of kids are proclaiming and confessing Jesus as Lord. To see this is one of the greatest privileges of our times.”
Children make real-life decisions for Jesus, and in fact, some of our global CfaN Directors came to Christ because someone intentionally preached the Gospel to the youth and recognized the need to reach the next generation!
At our CfaN Youth Crusades, each child receives a personal follow-up booklet written by Daniel Kolenda, “What’s Next?”. It has been purposely created as a pictorial coloring book designed to share an interactive, personal experience for each child. Thanks to the support of our ministry friends and partners, we distributed nearly 2 million copies of follow-up literature in 2022!
And we’re not slowing down! In 2023, we are planning Youth Crusades from January to December in Africa, partnering with members of the CfaN Evangelism Alliance.
